Steller's Seelöwen

Steller's Sea Lions are the largest members of the Otariidae. Adult males reach 10 feet in length and weigh up to 1000 kg. They occur along the coastal rim of the North Pacific Ocean, from California to the Bering Sea. Steller's Sea Lions arrive at Vancouver Island to feed on herring when they spawn in March. Male in dominant posture. Norris Rocks, Vancouver Island, BC. Canada
