Tyrannus forficatus

Scissor-tailed Flycatcher

Scherenschwanz Tyrann

The Sissor-tailed Flycatcher has an absurdly long tail, twice the length of its body. The tail can reach up to one foot in length, but is usually eight to ten inches long with a fork that splits it six inches deep. Convention Centre, South Padre Island, Texas, USA
