Marbled Godwit

This large shorebird has long, blue-grey legs and a very long, pink bill that is dark at the tip and has a slight upward curve. The bird forages by probing on mudflats or on the beach. In grass, it may pick up insects. Anahuac National Wildlife Refuge, High Island, Texas, USA
