The Great Kiskadee is a large and strikingly colored flycatcher. Often, it sits on exposed branches near the tops of trees, sometimes above water, where it gives a piercing kis-ka-dee call and darts out to catch flying insects or small fish from the water. Blucher Park, Corpus Christi, Texas, USA
